Overview
The 4th Annual Apex Awards, sponsored by hub magazine, recognize the best designed health care benefits strategies and programs of innovative employers, brokers and consultants who are working to improve the health care experience for consumers. Awards will be given in four categories to current UnitedHealth Group employer clients who have shown creative and trendsetting solutions to some of their most pressing health care issues.Award Categories

- Making health coverage more Accessible
- Simplifying the consumer health care experience
A separate Collaboration award recognizes the vital role that brokers and consultants play in helping employers advance these health care ideals.
All winners will be featured in the Summer issue of hub. By profiling these best practices, we hope this program furthers a dialogue on effective solutions that will help drive change throughout the health care system.Applications may be submitted in one of two ways:
- By employers, brokers or consultants who are nominating themselves, with the approval of the company's senior-most benefits executive; or
- By UnitedHealth Group account teams on behalf of their employer or broker partners, with the approval of the company’s senior-most benefits executive.
Programs can only be nominated in one category. Entries may be moved to another category if deemed necessary or appropriate by the judging panel.
